Pickup is before dawn, the balloon inflates as the light comes up over the Palmeraie, and you are back for breakfast. Flights run from the standard sunrise basket to a private VIP compartment, and several carry straight on into a quad ride, a camel ride, or a guided walk through the medina and the souks.
Marrakech balloon pickups are usually around 05:30 to 06:00 depending on the season, which is one of the reasons the dispatch desk stays awake through the night. The Agadir flight follows the same pre-dawn pattern from an Agadir hotel.
